On August 18th 2022, the Rotary Club of Princes Town once again, in its focus on ‘Maternal and Child Health’, distributed 31 boxes of Huggies Diapers at the Lengua Health Centre. President Rudranath Maraj, Past Presidents Zobida Ragbirsingh, Jamir Ousman and Crystal Harper together with Rotarian Shuntelle Thomas were all present for the distribution. Rotarian Shuntelle was instrumental in coordinating the details of the event with DHV Brewster who is the Head Nurse at the Facility. With its focus on this area, it is Rotary’s intention to make high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger. By doing these distributions, we expand access to quality care, so mothers and children everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future. The RCPT is ever-grateful to Cherise Raghoo at Bryden Pi Limited for the generous donation of the Huggies Diapers and all Rotarians who assisted in the coordinated effort to make this a successful venture.
