DIVALI OUTREACH HAMPERS AT SANCHO ROAD, NEW GRANT

The Rotary Club of Princes Town has always promoted diversity, equity and inclusion where we recognize and celebrate all major religious festivals as a Club with our members as well as partnering with a community to host an event where the villagers can showcase their talents. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, no community programme was organized this year. Our Club with the assistance of the Chairman of the Princes Town Regional Corporation, Councillor Gowrie Roopnarine, identified persons in need of assistance and our rotarians presented twenty four (24) food hampers to villagers of Sancho Road, New Grant at the Apollo Recreation Ground on October 31, 2021 to assist with their Divali preparations.
