As part of their continued efforts to motivate and inspire our youths to dream and plan for their futures, members of the Rotary Clubs of Princes Town and Pointe-a-Pierre held a Rotary Career Day on Wednesday 10th October 2018.

 

 

Featured guest speaker included 7030 District Governor Dominique Venere who spoke to the students of the balance of work life and charitable work in our communities. DG Dominique also presented certificates to the respective presidents of the Interact Clubs of Princes Town recognizing their hard work and service projects for the 2017-18 rotary year. After her presentation, members of the audience engaged the District Governor in a brief question and answer session which ended with her personally handing out "Be The Inspiration" theme pins to all who attended the event. Other specially invited guests were Kezra Lashley, Past President of the Rotaract Club of District 7030 and President Elect, Leon Nanan of the Pointe-a-Pierre Club who spoke on appropriate attire for job interviews.

 

 

 

 

 

The Rotary Clubs give special thanks to Dr. Carlyn Rajnarinesingh, Rotary Foundation Director and her committee for organizing the event and to all participating institutions including NESC, UWI, UTT, Republic Bank Limited, NTA and Kenson School of Technology for their invaluable contribution in making the Rotary's Career Day event a great success.
