ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT 2023
The 23rd annual charity golf tournament of the Rotary Club of Princes Town was held on Sunday March 5th 2023. The proceeds of which will assist our club in our various charitable activities throughout the rotary year. This event was held again for the third consecutive year at the Pointe-a-Pierre Golf Course.
This year, a total of 34 teams participated in the tournament which commenced with a shotgun start at 10:00 AM and continued for the rest of the day until our prize giving ceremony at 5:00 PM. This year our support for the junior golf program continued with a juniors tournament starting at 7:00AM and completing at 10:00AM. A total of 18 children participated in both a 3 hole, 6 hole and 9 hole mini tournament and a special prize giving ceremony was held for the kids at 11:00 AM.
During the day our team of Rotarians provided our players with refreshments at the main watering holes and ensured that everyone was given a chance to win in our raffle. Our top 9 winners received prizes at our dinner and prize giving ceremony and our raffle winners were delighted to win our prizes with the grand prize of 1 cooler full of beers and other drinks. Other prizes included a night stay at the Brix hotel, a heating iron and a Grocery hamper.

Our junior segment saw our kiddie golfers being presented with winning trophies and medals and each kiddie golfer received a special treat bag from our club. It was indeed a pleasure to be a part of the next generation of golfers and we wish them all the best in their future games.
