As our club continues to provide assistance to individuals in need of assistance, during the month of August the Rotary Club of Princes Town donated two wheelchairs to individuals in the local community.
On August 18th, Past President Jamir Ousman and Service Projects Director Michael Cooper-Ochiengh delivered a much needed wheelchair to Mr Francis of Princes Town who was very happy to receive same as this wheelchair would greatly assist him to alleviate the pain when moving with crutches which he currently uses.
On 20th August Past President Jamir Ousman and Partner in Service Tara, braved the terrible weather conditions to travel from Princes Town to Mayaro. Request for a wheel chair had been made by Mr. Patrick Phillip, President of Maguaya Youth Foundation on behalf of stroke victim Stella Samaroo of Kernaham village. The wheelchair was well received by Ms Samaroo and representatives of the Maguaya Youth Foundation.
