Christmas on the Central Range

Not all the children of Newbolt Village Tabaquite and Corosan Village were excited to meet Santa Claus. Many of them saw Santa for the first time as the Rotary Club of Princes Town hosted two Christmas Treats in December. Christmas goodies and toys were given out by the Rotarians to the children of the remote village of Newbolt. Many of whom would walk miles to get to school and although live close to the Navet Dam, do not enjoy the luxury of pipe borne water.

The annual Christmas treat is a particularly enjoyable event for the Club. This year Rotarians sang carols and spent time with the villagers as hampers and other necessities were given out.
