The Rotary Club of Princes Town held our Christmas Treat on December 19, 2021 at the Tableland Recreation Ground where 20 food hampers were distributed to families in need of assistance and over 100 children each received a Christmas gifts and a snack bag from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
Rotarians arrived early at the Recreational Ground to set up the hampers, gifts and snack bags to distribute later to the children and parents. Past President Jamir Ousman welcomed the villagers and introduced the Chairman of the Princes Town Regional Corporation, Councillor Gowrie Roopnarine who assisted with the coordination of the venue and the villagers and children for the hampers and gifts.
President Rishi Ramlogan (Santa) called the children to the stage to receive their gift and snack bags from Mrs Claus (Secretary Andrea Bhagwandeen) who was assisted by the elves (Rotarians and spouses) on the stage.
Thank you to all the Rotarians, spouses, partners in service and friends who ensured that our Christmas Treat was a huge success!
