Community Eid Treat at Fifth Company Mosque, Moruga
The Rotary Club of Princes Town held it final project for the Rotary Year 2017/2018 commemorating the festival of Eid at the Fifth Company ASJA Jamaat in St. Mary�s Moruga.
Both the Imam of Asja Jamaat St Mary�s and President Bashir delivered small addresses on the meaning of fasting and Eid celebration, whilst Rotarian Zobida spoke on Diabetes and how to take precaution against this disease.
The Al Faisaliyyah Nasheed Group performed a few quaseedas that moved the congregation, after which treat bags and toys were distributed to the children. What a sight to see the smiles on those children faces!! In addition, the Club also distributed 20 hampers to assist some families in the community.
The Rotary Club would like to thank Reasat Ali from the 5th Company Mosque for his assistance in making this event a reality.
