Rotary Eid Treat

In keeping with Rotary’s theme of Service to Humanity, the Rotary Club of Princes Town held an Eid treat at the Piparo ASJA Masjid on Sunday 18th September 2016.

Imam Mohammed of the Piparo Masjid warmly welcomed the Rotary Club of Princes Town and thanked them for their generosity and service. He chaired the brief function which entailed the children of the masjid doing several Islamic prayers and songs. President Debbie Roopchand then gave a brief message following which treat bags and gifts were given to all children present.

Hampers for distribution were also presented to the Imam to be distributed to members of the community.

There were several Rotarians, partners in service and children of Rotary on hand to assist with the distribution of gift bags.
