Continuing work with the Cerebral Palsy Society of Trinidad and Tobago

As the Club continues to strive to fulfill this year's theme of "Rotary Serving Humanity", on Saturday 5th November 2016 under the leadership of President Debbie Roopchand it conducted its third distribution of basic monthly supplies to the children of the Cerebral Palsy Society of Trinidad and Tobago.

The distribution took place at the KPA Primary School, Chase Village where the Society meets on a monthly basis with its membership within a small classroom, using infant desks and benches as best they can, as they have been unable despite many efforts to obtain the use of a venue which is properly equipped to support their members' needs.

While the parents of the children of the Society continue to be faced with major challenges such as their inability to afford physical therapy, speech therapy, and daytime care for their children, more than one parent expressed their thanks to the Club for its assistance which allows for them to use the money they would have had to spend on these items towards other pressing needs for their children.

At the meeting there was a beautiful performance by the children of the Girl Guides Association of Trinidad and Tobago who took the time out to perform a parang song as well as other songs for the children so as to bring some cheer to their day.
