Truly a special venue and occasion when the flags of each country with attendees present was displayed by the young people of Suriname who were dressed in traditional Surinamese wear as well as in the traditional clothing of other countries as their popular opera singer gave a live rendition of each country's anthem as its flag was paraded. The event was made even more memorable by the address of Rotary International's representative from Paris Dominique Dubois who brought greetings on behalf of RI's Preaident Gary Huang and by District 7030's District Governor Elwin Atmodimedjo who addressed the district and brought the ceremony to a close.
