District Governor’s Official Visit 2012

On Wednesday, October 17th District Governor Dr. Stephen Ramroop accompanied by his first lady Joanne made his official visit to our club. It was a special evening that included Rotarians’ spouses.
President Capil welcomed the DG and his spouse to this special meeting. Entertainment provided was as a solo dance done by Anastasia, the niece of Michael Salickram.
After all formalities and reports, Assistant Governor Wayne introduced the DG to the membership. He stressed on getting the work of Rotary done by ensuring the right persons are elected to the Board of Directors.
The evening ended with lively fellowship among the members, DG Stephen and Joanne.
