On Sunday March 27th, rotarians and their friends and families gathered at Mozart’s Ranch in Guaracara for a long overdue Fun and Family Day as the restrictions of Covid-19 regulations were relaxed to allow large gatherings.

Our chefs arrived early to prepare and cook all the meats on site – bbq chicken, bbq fish and curry duck.  These were accompanied by fried rice, macaroni pie, garlic bread, paratha roti, channa and potato, corn soup, pineapple chow and a wide variety of desserts!
We were thrilled to welcome our treasured ladies and friends of RC Maraval who spent the entire day with us participating in all the fun games and activities after the massive lunch spread.  They were also the recipients of many medals and prizes as they wholeheartedly participated in all the games.

Rotarian Mark with the assistance of members of ScoutsTT organized and coordinated the games for all age groups for the afternoon.  Patrons and their children participated in the rope ladder, badminton, cricket, archery and air rifle games.  The watermelon eating and beer drinking competition were added bonuses to an already fun filled day. There was much fun, laughter and picong at these events as all present vied for the prizes at the end of the games.

As the evening drew near, all members gathered on the field for the Childhood Obesity Program Challenge fitness segment led by our own Fitness Instructor Rotarian Villon.  The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves doing the exercises and the adults were very enthusiastic as the fitness segment ended with a conga line off the field to await the prize giving and door prizes.
