The TSTT grounds on Cipero Rd. was the venue on July 17th for the Rotary Club of Princes Town Family Day and Curry Duck Cook Out.

Three teams led by Rotarians Allana, Kex and Ronald competed for the coveted title of the best duck. It was a difficult decision for the judges, however, Team Allana won, thanks especially to Rotarian Seelal and Partner in Service Debbie.

After a scrumptious lunch of Roti, Channa, Pumpkin, Chicken, Duck, Macaroni pie, Salad, Provision, Curry Mango and Watermelon, the games began!

Laughter, cheers and picong were the order of the day as Rotarians and their families played Cricket, Musical Chairs, Slip and Slide, Pass the water balloon, Shoe tying race, Lime and Spoon and more.

Rotarians took turns churning the old fashioned ice cream maker as  Rotarian Terry and Partner in Service Selene made their special home-made ice cream to go with Rotarian Jaik’s  delicious cakes.

It was a memorable day and the promise was to make it bigger and better next year!
