The torrential rainfall in Southern Trinidad over the last few weeks adversely affected many families whose homes were completely flooded as their furniture and appliances were waterlogged and their food supplies contaminated by the murky flood waters.

The Club with the assistance of the Chairman of the Princes Town Regional Corporation, Councillor Gowrie Roopnarine identified families in dire need of assistance and delivered fifteen (15) hampers with grocery items and cleaning supplies to families from Kent Street in Williamsville, Barrackpore, Weston Street in St Mary's Village and Moruga.

Many of the families were located right next to waterways and were extremely grateful for the assistance as they struggle to bring their homes back to a sense of normalcy as the flood waters subsided.
