GALA EVENING AT PRIVE RESTAURANT & CONFERENCE CENTRE
 
On Wednesday the 10th December 2014, the Rotary Clubs of Princes Town Trinidad and Tobago, Pointe-a-Pierre, Point Fortin, San Fernando, San Fernando South and Penal hosted a gala evening at Prive Restaurant & Conference Centre for District Governor Elwin Atmodimedjo who attended the event with partner in service Maureen Atmodimedjo.
 
Jamir Ousman, President of the Rotary Club of Princes Town (“the Club”) chaired the event, which was well attended by Rotarians, partners in service and guests. 
 
The Club in its continued charitable efforts to support the academic endeavors of our youth announced its grant of a cheque in the sum of $5,000.00 (made available to the Club through the sponsorship of JDS Group of Companies) to student of St. Stephen’s College, Princes Town Kishan Narinesingh for the purpose of furthering his tertiary level education.
 
DG Elwin kindly presented the Club’s cheque to Mrs. Narinesingh who attended on her son’s behalf to receive the same.
 
The evening was made special by the induction of three Rotarians to the Rotary fold who were admitted to membership of the Rotary Club of San Fernando South, San Fernando and Point Fortin respectively.
 
Attendees enjoyed a specially prepared Christmas dinner, which was served in the ambience of the beautifully decorated auditorium and the lively entertainment of popular parang band Fuego Caribeano.
 
The event provided a great opportunity for fellowship and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
