The Interact Club of Princes Town West Secondary School held its second Handing Over Ceremony on Saturday 30th June, 2018 at the Princes Town West Secondary School in Princes Town. Specially invited guests in attendance included Immediate Past President Bashir Mohammed and Director of Rotary Foundation for the 2018/2019 rotary year, Dr. Carlyn Rajnarinesingh, both Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Princes Town, Parents/Guardians of Interactors, and the club members.
Outgoing Interact President Kyrie Rampersad made a brief note on her tenure of presidency whilst Incoming President Melinda Ramjattan gave an inspiring acceptance speech. Subsequently, new board members were introduced and pinned individually by Rotarian Dr. Carlyn Rajnarinesingh. The Ceremony ended with a Vote of Thanks and tokens of appreciation distributed to deserving persons who assisted the Club in its projects for the last rotary year.
The 2017/2018 Interact Club members would specially like to thank Board Members of the Outgoing and Incoming Board for their time and creative talents in decorating for the event, President Crystal for her donation of a new Interact President pin which shows details of the Rotary wheel, and to the Parents/Guardians of Interactors as well as Immediate Past President Bashir who generously donated drinks, pastries, cakes and other delicacies to celebrate this auspicious occasion.
The Rotary Club of Princes Town welcomes President Melinda Ramjattan and her new Board of Directors of the Interact Club for the 2018-2019 rotary year! We look forward to continue working together to be of service in our community.
