First Presidential Havdover Ceremony for the Interact Club of Princes Town West Secondary School
As the sponsor club for the Interact Club of Princes Town West Secondary School our club was pleased to join them today, which marked exactly one year since their charter on 24 June 2016 to celebrate with them a successful year in existence and to welcome their incoming Board.
Our Club's President Debbie Roopchand congratulated President Alyssa Francis on her Club's remarkable achievements during their first year and urged incoming President Kyrie Rampersad to follow in her predecessor's footsteps.
It was a wonderful occasion for all who attended the event as President Alyssa showcased their club's many successes in video and slideshow presentations.
Incoming President Kyrie Rampersad shared her aim of focusing on the development of family in the upcoming year.
President Debbie Roopchand closed her address to the audience in the words of Mahatma Ghandi:
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" urging interactors present to lose themselves in the upcoming year in the service of others.
