CCC caters to young adults between the ages of 16-25 with limited or no academic qualifications.
Their philosophy is: to raise self-esteem of young people with high needs
: To initiate intervention that would assist in fostering socially desirable behaviour among youths
: To train & develop unemployed young adults between ages 16-25 in order to prepare them for employment
: To develop young adults, an understanding and sensitivity to the natural environment
: To collaborate with Forestry Division to implement their re- forestation and environmental conservation programmes
: To foster a sense of national pride in participants
The Spelling Bee Competition was held on Aug 21st 2024 at CCC’s North Central Regional Complex.
Competition was fierce and one could sense the pride in both the participants and their coaches as the young people excelled in the competition. Imagine, the organisers had to return to the dictionary for more spelling words!!!
Congrats to these young persons and as Mr Andrew Richins, spelling & numeracy office said, ”it’s not just a spelling Bee competition but it’s the hope to ignite the fire within”.
