Brother Yogi Khem Jokhoo was the honored speaker at a joint meeting of the Rotary Clubs of Penal, San-Fernando South and Princes Town on Wednesday 18th August 2010.
The occasion was well attended and the Clubs were pleased to welcome Assistant District Governor Ann Marie Rogers to share the evening with us.
The Rotary Club of Princes Town hosted this fulfilling evening of fellowship and spiritual enlightenment at its Canton Palace Restaurant meeting place.
Brother Khem Jokhoo is an Engineer and Physicist by profession and is currently the President of the Trinidad Nitrogen Co. Ltd. He is a renowned scholar of the philosophy of the Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga teachings.
In his discourse, Brother Khem emphasized the need to develop leadership qualities that are not based on ego or greed but rather on compassion, corporation and spirituality.
He encouraged all to develop our Intellect to make good judgements and decisions and to understand and accept responsibility as it leads to self empowerment.
The evening ended on a relaxed and happy note as the Club continued fellowship with our Rotary brothers and sisters.
