A Medical Outreach program was held on Sunday 1st. August ,2010 at the Christian Church Centre, Fonrose Village, Poole. The clinic was conducted from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

 

A Medical Outreach program was held on Sunday 1st. August ,2010 at the Christian Church Centre, Fonrose Village, Poole. The clinic was conducted from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

The following personnel were present:

1.        Nine (9) Medical Doctors : Dr. Premanand, Dr. Gobin, Dr. Tamara Mohammed, Dr. Rao,Dr. Vagolu, Dr. Kotapuri, Dr. Klovis and Two (2) Cuban doctors, whose names I will be submitted in the next report.

2.        Two (2) nurses were in attendance. (Nurse Ali & Melissa).

42 -Forty Two Patients had their Blood Sugar Tested.

45 - Patients has their Blood Pressure tested,

31- Patients had their Cholesterol tested.

52- Patients were examined by the Doctors.

All prescriptions were filled by the Pharmacist.

In addition to medical services, there was the distribution of Books and Toiletries to the children.

There were Twelve (12) Rotarians and Four (4) spouses present at the medical outreach programme.

There were also two (2) students who assisted in the registration as part of their school base assessment and their participation in community projects. They were Danity Persad an upper six student of the Princes Town West Secondary School and Saisha Rattan, a form four student at Naparima Girls High School.

The event of the day was very organized by the church representative Mrs. Jean Sookdeo. Breakfast and Lunch was provided for all the attendees at the clinic.
