After putting off Tableland Medical Outreach Clinic for more than a year due to the pandemic, the Rotary Club of Princes Town was finally able to reach out to the community in the environs of Tableland Recreation Ground on Sunday May 22nd 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Over 90 persons were registered who had access to Onsite Doctors, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar and Cholesterol testing, Optometrist, Pharmacy, Legal Advice, Diabetes Management and Information on various testing and vaccination programmes. Lightly used clothing items were also available for distribution.
The Club extends our sincere gratitude to Chairman Councillor Gowrie Roopnarine for identifying this area and liaising with the local community to come out. In addition, we were privileged to have Trinidad Eye Hospital who offered free optical consultations by Snr. Opthamologist Dr. Vineet Kumar, Optometrist Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed, Optometrist Ms. Aligarh Khan, Snr. Opthamologist Ms. Sareta Dubay, Optician Mr. Williams and Br. Manager Ms. Erron Seenath.
Special thanks to our Past President Dr. Gobin, Dr. Prem Premanand, Dr. Kiran Premanand and Dr. Lindsey Aziz, our Foundation Director, for providing the Doctor consultations.
