The Rotary club of Princes Town conducted a Medical outreach program on Sunday 18th.July, at the Residence of Mr. Roy Ragbir in the village of Kernaham, Mayaro. The clinic was conducted from 8.30a.m. to 12.30p.m
 
A Medical outreach program was held on Sunday 18th.July, at the Residence of Mr. Roy Ragbir in the village of Kernaham, Mayaro. The clinic was conducted from 8.30a.m. to 12.30p.m. The following personnel was present: 1. Three (3)Medical Doctors ; Dr. Premanand, Dr. Kiran Premanand, and Dr. Gonzales. 2. Six (6) Nurses: Rot. Zobida Ragbirsingh, Doris Dhanno, and Mellisa. Primary care nurses Cynthia Jackson, Shamine Timothy and Barbara London/Branche. 3. Value Optical (Eye Testing). 4. Pharmacist –Mrs. Nora Persad. Eighty Three (83) Patients were attended to by the Medical personnel. 8-Patients were Immunized. 41-Patients had their eyes tested 72- Patients had their Blood Sugar tested 72- Patients had their Blood Pressure tested. All prescriptions were filled by the Pharmacist. In addition to the Medical services, there was the distribution of Clothing, Books and Toiletries to all the patients. The actual securing and preparation of the venue was done by a villager and community worker Mrs. Angie Jaimungal. A very dedicated and committed community activist. There were thirteen (13) Rotarians and Six (6) spouses present at the medical outreach programme. 1. Keegs & Zorina, Jim & Tara 2. Ramesh & Nora, Deoraj & Priya 3. Selwyn & Judy, Terry & Seline 4. Wendy, Nazma 5. Jaikaran, Rudolph 6. Capil, Wayne 7. Zobida The events of the day were very successful despite some hiccups prior to the event. At the end of the event all personnel gathered at the beach house of Dr. Kamal Amin in Rabita where we had lunch and fellowship afterwards.
