The Rotary Club of Princes Town held their 29th Handing Over Ceremony virtually on July 3rd 2021 where President Rishi Ramlogan awarded Rotary’s highest recognition for excellence, Paul Harris Fellow, to Dr. Lindsey Aziz, currently the Club’s Foundation Director and Nabeel Mohammed, a Form 6 student of Naparima College.
Paul Harris Fellow recognition is The Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to support a wide range of humanitarian grants and educational programs that enable Rotarians to bring hope and promote international understanding throughout the world
Dr. Lindsey Aziz is one of the doctors assigned to the Princes Town District Hospital and has been on the front lines for the last year tirelessly working to combat the Covid-19 pandemic despite her medical challenges.  The Paul Harris Fellow recognized her humanitarian efforts to reduce the spread of the virus and her commitment to helping persons in need by her work with the Rotary Foundation.
Nabeel Mohammed currently writing Cape 2 Examinations at Naparima College was recognized for his academic achievement by placing on the Caribbean Examination Council Cape 2020 Merit List for Computer Science in the region and for his volunteer services to the Club for the last 10 years.
