In recognition of Peace and Conflict Resolution Month, our Club hosted a webinar on cyberbullying, social media etiquette, digital footprint and internet addiction on March 2, 2022 (postponed from February 16th due to the national blackout) with our guest Darren Dhoray from CybersafeTT.
Daren is the Founder and Digital Anthropologist at the CyberSafeTT Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to educate students, parents and teachers on Cyber Safety, Cyber Bullying, Internet Addiction and Social Media Etiquette.
The session was interactive with Darren fielding questions after his presentation from our members and Interactors concerning digital footprint and internet addiction issues and methods we can use to prevent addiction. He also shared how easy it is for phishers to hack your information through seemingly harmless games where your passwords can be obtained without your knowledge.
Our Club extends our thanks to Darren Dhoray of CybersafeTT and we look forward to more engaging sessions with him as we all serve to change lives in our society.
