President's Dinner 11/12/2020.
Christmas is a time for family, socializing (while social distancing), sharing food and festivities. 2020 was a year of separation from each other and the world, that’s why this President’s Dinner was such a cherished event. For one night, we donned our finest, faces adorned with masks not makeup (Ladies of course) and came out with our families for a dual intentioned evening of fellowship and inductions.
The evening began beautifully with the induction of the Rotary Club of Princes Town’s newest members, overseen by Membership Director Andrea Bhagwandeen. We welcomed to the fold Villon Stanley, (former Rotarian) Wendy-Ann Joseph and Narisha Mohammed.
Following the inductions a lovely dinner was shared amongst all attendees, the air filled with lively chatter and Christmas music. It was then time for Gift giving! Firstly door prizes, then the grand gift exchange between the Rotarians (determined by a highly numerically calculated system) and finally everyone received a gift from the President and First Lady themselves Rishi and Nadira Ramlogan. All this was done with the strictest observance of the Covid-19 protocols and regulations.
It was indeed a delightful evening, well spent.
