It was indeed a momentous occasion on Wednesday October 13th 2021 when the Rotary Club of Princes Town welcomed four new members to join our Club.  The new inductees bring a wealth of experience in banking and risk management, business development, culinary arts and education.
 
Our four new inductees are:
Kellon Craig - a Business Development Manager with Nestle T&T
Rajiv Dookie - Manager, Consumer Collections Management Unit at First Citizens Bank, San Juan
Justin Girdharrie - Managing Director of Lunch Kit Catering and Restaurant
Mark Ainsley John - Teacher at Tableland Secondary School and currently is the National Scout Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago.
 
Past President Ronald Gobin welcomed all rotarians and guests and the Club was briefly updated on Service Projects by Director Michael Cooper Ochiengh and Public Relations by Director Narisha Aziz-Mohammed.  Club Administration Director Bashir Mohammed presented his report on the Chokhafest fundraiser which was a huge success and recognized the leadership of Rotarian Wendy-Ann Joseph who was the chairperson for the fundraiser. In addition, the committee recognized the top sellers of chokhafest tickets with Past President Jamir Ousman copping the 1st place, Narisha Aziz-Mohammed and Dr. Ronald Gobin with 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Rotarian Darren Harrilal was recognized for his outstanding performance as well.
 
President Rishi Ramlogan then formally inducted the new Rotarians and Membership Director Rudranath Maraj assisted with the pinning and presentation of the new member kits. On hand to assist with pinning the new Rotarians was Past Assistant Governor Major Lawrence Wilson (Retired) who encouraged the new members to actively participate in club projects and activities and embrace the ideals of rotary in their professional life as well.
 
Our four new members expressed their appreciation for becoming Rotarians and were eager to get involved in planning and executing the service projects and fundraisers in the near future. 
In addition, in recognition of breast cancer awareness month, all rotarians and guests were pinned with a pink ribbon upon entrance by Past President Zobida Ragbirsingh.
 
We welcome our newest Rotarians and look forward to serving to change lives with them!
