Rotary International in its wisdom designated January as Rotary Awareness month. The intention is for clubs to showcase themselves and spread the work that Rotary is doing. It is an opportunity to develop a closer relationship with members of the public.

The Rotary Club of Princes Town held a Rotary Awareness and Health Fair on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th at the Gulf City mall from 3.00pm – 6.00pm daily.

This was incorporated with Membership Development where members of the public were given information on Rotary. There was also counselling on STD’s and HIV AIDS from members of the Queens Park Counselling Centre.

District Governor Stephen was our guest at the opening function held on Wednesday night at the mall.

Over the two days there was keen interest with more than 200 members of the public participating by having their Blood pressure, Blood Sugar and Blood Cholesterol tested.
