On Sunday August 6th 2017, the Rotary Club of Princes Town held their annual Family Day at the Block 2 PlayPark in Palmiste.  Rotarians and their families and friends together with potential Rotarians started the afternoon off with lunch comprising a vast array of dishes and desserts.

The lavish menu consisted of fried rice, bbq chicken, macaroni salad, potato salad, boiled corn, oil down, stewed chicken, curry duck, curry goat, channa and potato, curry mango and roti.

After lunch Rotarians were entertained with a live performance by Phillip Murray better known as Black Sage, an extempo connoisseur.  Black Sage engaged his audience by accepting topics on which he created his extempo verses on the spot.  He had the Rotarians in stiches with the picong in his performances which were based on current events in the country.

The afternoon was spent with Rotarians engrossed in games of All Fours and their children taking advantage of the sunny afternoon to engage in both indoor and outdoor sports and activities.  At the end of the evening, the smiling faces on the tired children were tantamount to the success of a day well spent with friends and family.
