Rotary Valentine Fellowship

On Wednesday 15th February 2017, the Rotary Club of Princes Town held its first major fellowship for the year. The event was held at Rotarian Terry Ali’s home in San Fernando and was well attended by Rotarians, partners in service, children of Rotary and specially invited guests. Terry’s partner in service, Selene did a fantastic job with the décor which set the mood for a beautiful Valentine’s dinner.

Following a brief weekly meeting chaired by President Debbie Roopchand, we were all treated to a sumptuous dinner provided by Nic Nacks caterers. The real treat was the array of home-made desserts prepared by Rotarian Bashir and Terry’s partner in service, Selene. These included a cheesecake platter; home-made coconut ice-cream served from the pail, crème caramel and jello shots.

Rotarians then presented their partners in service and children with Valentine gifts courtesy the Club. The highlight of the night was when President Debbie took the mike and kicked off the Karaoke in fine style. This was followed by many other brave hearts that joined in the fun.

Some good laughs, great food and even better company sum up Rotary’s Valentine Fellowship.
