RYLA 2012
The Rotary Club of Princes Town in keeping with its Vocational project to foster and enhance leadership qualities in our youths in today’s society, participated in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards programme which was held in Grenada at the Gran- Anse Hotel and Beach Resort from January 26-29th, 2012.
Two students from the Princes Town West Secondary School, Dana Shazana Mohammed and Nalini Jagessar, Lower Six students, were selected and sponsored to represent the Rotary Club of Princes Town at this year’s RYLA conference .
From initial reports from the two students, who attended one of our regular weekly meetings, the conference was truly successful and they enjoyed the trip immensely. The entire conference from arrival to departure was well organized and they would recommend the RYLA programme to their friends.
The Rotary Club of Princes Town looks forward to partnering with the Princes Town West Secondary in future endeavours.
