The Club recently held a Medical and Legal Clinic in May at Kernaham where the villagers approached members of our club requesting the donation of water tanks to assist in alleviating the scarce water supply received at Kernaham. Following a needs assessment and discussions held with community leaders, it was determined that there was a need for a regular supply of potable water.

The Club arranged for three (3) one thousand gallon water tanks to be delivered to Kernaham and submitted a request to the Mayaro Rio Claro Regional Corporation for the tanks to be serviced regularly to ensure the community has a clean and fresh supply of water.

The villagers assisted in putting down the bases for the water tanks and will assume responsibility of the tanks and will liaise with WASA to ensure a reliable supply of water to the tanks.
