At 19 years old, Pria of Hermitage Village, is confined to a wheelchair due to a hip adjustment surgery which left her with one leg 4 inches shorter than the other.
As time went by her chair suffered damage, restricting her movement around her humble home and preventing her from going to the mall with her friends. She needed help.
It is those in need, like Pria, who benefit from the funds raised by the Rotary Club of Princes Town. On Tuesday 20th August, 2019 our Director of Service, Rot. Rhea, was able to deliver a brand new wheelchair to this delighted and effervescent young woman - restoring her mobility and comfort once more.
